A New Chapter for New Generation Electrics
New Generation Electrics marks ten years of trusted electrical work and begins its next chapter designing safer, more comfortable and energy-efficient homes.
This year marks 10 years since I started New Generation Electrics.
Looking back, I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together.
Over the last decade I’ve had the privilege of working in hundreds of homes across Reading and Berkshire. Many of you have welcomed me back time and time again, recommended me to family and friends, and helped build this business into what it is today.
For that, I just want to say thank you.
Although I’m proud of the last ten years, I’m even more excited about the next ten.
Electrical work is changing.
The way we use energy is changing.
The way we live in our homes is changing.
I believe our role as electricians should evolve with it.
Of course, I’ll still be carrying out the electrical work that New Generation Electrics has always been known for — consumer unit upgrades, rewires, extensions, fault finding, renovations and everything in between.
That isn’t changing.
What is changing is how much more we can now help our customers.
I want New Generation Electrics to help create homes that are:
- Safer
- More comfortable
- More energy efficient
- Designed for the future
Sometimes that will mean installing new technology.
Sometimes it won’t.
Sometimes the best advice is not to buy the biggest solar system or the largest battery available.
It’s to understand how your home works first.
I believe every home is different.
Every family is different.
Every project is different.
That’s why my focus is shifting from simply installing products to helping people make the right decisions for their homes.
Whether you’re planning a renovation, building your forever home, improving your lighting, preparing for an electric vehicle, thinking about solar, or simply wondering how to make your home work a little better, I’d love to help.
Over the coming months you’ll start to see the next chapter of New Generation Electrics.
