This was not simply a collection of garden lights. NGE brought multiple outdoor lighting zones together through one considered Loxone control layer.
The installation formed part of a landscaped garden centred on a large koi pond and was planned as an early phase of wider connected-home capability.

The System
Different parts of the landscape, coordinated with purpose.
Individual zones can work independently or together through programmed moods. The result supports everyday use, evenings outside and scheduled behaviour without reducing the garden to a collection of separate manual switches.
NGE's Role
Designed. Installed. Programmed. Commissioned.
NGE delivered the electrical installation and Loxone control layer as one working outdoor system.
NGE planned the documented pond, step, feature and landscaped lighting zones, scenes and automated behaviours around the finished garden.
The installed control layer used a Miniserver Go and two RGBW 24 V Compact Dimmer Air units.
NGE configured individual zones, mood scenes, sunrise and sunset behaviour, schedules, holiday operation and smartphone control.
The lighting and control system were commissioned as a working outdoor installation, with completion and support records retained in the project evidence.
Garden environment
The control equipment sits within the pond plant and filtration area, where humidity, protection and practical access had to be considered.
Connected infrastructure
A dedicated Ethernet connection back to the house gave the Loxone control layer the required connection to operate as part of the wider installation.
